Google Ads management for Australian businesses, judged on jobs won, not clicks.

OneAdsphere runs Google Ads for Australian businesses that want enquiries from people already searching for what they sell. We build search campaigns around the suburbs and regions you really serve, tend the keywords and negative keywords every week, send each click to a page that answers the search, and track calls and forms through to the deals they become. The account is set up in your name. Management is scoped to your account and quoted in AUD plus GST before anything starts, on its own or as part of the Growth Partner.

Why Google Search

Google Ads reaches people at the moment they go looking.

A search is a stated need. Someone who types “blocked drain Chermside” at seven in the morning is not browsing: they want a plumber, today, nearby. Search puts your ad in front of that person while they decide, which is why search enquiries tend to sit closer to a sale than people who saw an ad while scrolling. The trade-off is volume, capped by how many people look for your service in your area.

What search does well

Captures demand that already exists

Emergency and urgent work, quotes people are actively comparing, and services people already know how to name. The search term tells you what they want before you say a word.

Where it runs out

Cannot create demand that is not there yet

If people do not yet search for what you sell, or need to see it before they want it, search volume stays small however much you bid. That is a job for Facebook and Instagram, covered on our Meta ads page.

Not sure which suits your business? Our guide to Google Ads or Meta ads in Australia works through it by industry.

PPC management, step by step

How we structure a Google Ads account around where you work.

A lot of wasted spend in Google Ads comes from structure: one campaign covering a whole state, a handful of broad keywords, and every click sent to the homepage. We build it the other way round, starting from the map of where you take work.

01Map

The suburbs, radius or regions you really service, with budget weighted to where the work pays.

02Group

Keywords split by service and by intent, so each ad answers one kind of search.

03Exclude

Negative keywords stop the searches that look close but never buy.

04Match

Each ad group lands on a page that repeats the promise made in the ad.

05Measure

Calls and forms counted as conversions, then traced to closed work.

Geography first

A builder in Logan and a builder in Noosa share a state and nothing else. Campaigns are targeted by suburb, radius or region, budgets are split toward the areas with the best margin, and ads run in your business hours, in your time zone.

Keywords by intent

“Emergency electrician”, “switchboard upgrade quote” and “how to reset a safety switch” are three different people. Urgent, quote-ready and research searches get their own ad groups, so bids and ad text fit what each one wants.

Negative keywords

Google describes negative keywords as a way to exclude search terms from your campaigns. Every account starts with a negative list built for your trade (jobs, courses, DIY help and the like), and it grows every week from what actually triggered your ads.

The search terms report, weekly

Google shows the actual searches that triggered your ads and how each performed. Reading it every week is where a lot of the savings come from: new negatives, keywords that deserve their own ad group, and wording for the next test.

Ads that say something checkable

Price guides, service areas, licence details and response times you really keep. Specific, provable lines earn the click from the right people, and they are what Australian consumer law expects anyway.

Your brand name covered

A small campaign on your own business name, so a competitor bidding on it cannot pick off people who were already looking for you, including people who first saw you on Facebook or Instagram.

Landing pages

The click is only half the job. The page does the rest.

An ad for “roof restoration Frankston” that lands on a generic homepage wastes the click. Every ad group we build points at a page that repeats the promise, names the area, shows the proof and makes the next step obvious on a phone. If your current site cannot do that, we build pages that can: see our website design service, and the page for builders and trades.

  • The headline repeats what the person searched for
  • Click-to-call on your number, tracked as a conversion
  • A short form that lands in your inbox or CRM
  • Service areas and proof on the page, not three clicks away
  • Licence details where your state requires them
  • Built mobile-first, with nothing between the visitor and the call button
Conversion tracking

We count calls and enquiries, then follow them to the deal.

Clicks are a cost, not a result. Before a campaign spends in earnest, conversion tracking is in place for the actions that matter to you, so the account can be judged, and bid, on enquiries rather than traffic.

Calls from ads

Google can show a forwarding number on your ads in Australia and count a call as a conversion once it passes a minimum length you set, so a two-second misdial is never reported as a lead.

Form enquiries

Every form sent from the landing page is recorded as a conversion, along with the campaign and keyword that produced it.

Outcomes from your CRM

When your CRM records which enquiries qualified or turned into work, Google’s enhanced conversions for leads lets that outcome flow back into Google Ads, so bidding learns from real jobs instead of raw clicks.

One number that matters

Reports lead with cost per qualified enquiry and, once the CRM link is in place, cost per closed deal. We engineer for cost per closed deal, not cost per click.

Testing and reporting

A Google Ads agency that shows its work every week.

A search account that is set up once and left alone slowly fills with searches nobody meant to pay for. Ours is worked on every week, and you see what changed and why.

  1. Every week

    Search terms and negatives

Read the searches that cost money, block the ones that will never buy, and give the ones that convert their own ad group.

  2. Every week

    One test at a time

A new headline, offer or landing page against the current best, left running long enough to mean something before we call it.

  3. Every week

    Bids and budget

Money moved toward the campaigns, areas and hours producing qualified enquiries, and away from the ones that are not.

  4. Every week

    Your report

Spend, calls, forms, cost per qualified enquiry and what we are changing next, in plain English, with no vanity charts.

  5. As data builds

    The bigger calls

Which services and areas deserve more budget, and whether Facebook and Instagram should carry part of the load. Decided with you, on the numbers.

Australian ad rules

Google Ads written to Australian law, and to Google’s own rules.

Search ads are advertising under Australian law, and Google layers its own policies on top. Both are built in before an ad goes live, not fixed after a complaint or a disapproval.

Australian Consumer Law

The ACCC says any claim a business makes about its services must be accurate, truthful and based on reasonable grounds, and that it makes no difference whether the business meant to mislead. Prices, results and response times in your ads are ones you can prove.

Prices, GST and fine print

The ACCC lists a price shown without GST or other costs included as one way a price claim can mislead, and says fine print must not conflict with the overall message. Where an ad or page quotes a price, the GST position is clear.

No promised results

A forecast, such as a number of leads, needs reasonable grounds at the time it is made, the ACCC says. Guaranteed results do not go in your ads, and we do not promise them to you either.

Financial services verification

To show financial services ads in Australia, Google requires advertisers to be verified, which means proving they are licensed by ASIC, usually through its vendor G2RS. Insurance advisers, brokers and other licensed firms: this is done before launch.

Licence numbers for trades

NSW says a building licensee’s name and licence number must be shown in all advertising, internet included. The QBCC asks for your name and QBCC licence number in advertisements, websites included. They go on every landing page.

Advertiser verification

Google says every advertiser will eventually have to complete advertiser verification, after which some business details appear in ad disclosures and its Ads Transparency Centre. Accounts selected for it can have ads restricted until it is done, so it is dealt with as soon as Google asks.

Ownership
Your Google Ads account is yours, from day one.

We set the account up in your business name and work in it through access you grant. Campaigns, keyword and negative lists, conversion tracking and the full history live in your account, so if you stop working with us, everything we built stays exactly where it is, ready for whoever runs it next.

What it costs

How Google Ads management is priced.

There is no off-the-shelf fee on our price list. Management is scoped to your account: how many services and areas, how much testing, and whether landing pages are part of it. You get the scope and the price in AUD plus GST, in writing, before anything starts.

Questions

Google Ads in Australia, answered plainly.

Anything not covered here, ask us on the call. We will tell you straight whether Google Ads suits your business.

What does Google Ads management include?

Campaign structure built around your service area, keyword research, negative keyword lists, ad writing and testing, landing pages that match the search, conversion tracking for calls and forms, and a weekly report on cost per qualified enquiry. OneAdsphere runs all of it in a Google Ads account set up in your business name.

How much does Google Ads management cost in Australia?

There is no set management fee on our price list. The work is scoped to your account (the services, areas and campaigns involved, and whether we build landing pages) and quoted in AUD plus GST, in writing, before anything starts. You can have it on its own or inside the Growth Partner. If you would rather pay only for results, the Pickup System is AU $150 + GST per confirmed appointment, with the ad spend funded and managed by us.

Do I own the Google Ads account?

Yes. The account is set up in your business name and we work in it through access you grant. The campaigns, keyword lists, conversion tracking and history stay in your account if you ever stop working with us.

How soon will Google Ads bring enquiries?

Search ads can start producing enquiries once they are approved and running, because they reach people who are already looking. The first weeks are about learning which searches, areas and hours turn into real work, so expect changes every week. Nobody can promise a number of leads or a cost per lead, and we do not.

What is the difference between PPC management and SEO?

Pay-per-click ads buy a place at the top of the results today and stop when the budget stops. SEO earns a place in the unpaid results and in AI answers over time. Many businesses run both: ads for the searches that matter now, SEO for the long run, with the search terms report showing which keywords are worth ranking for.

Do you use Performance Max, Display or YouTube?

For most service businesses we start with Search, because it reaches people already looking. Display, YouTube and Performance Max come in once there is conversion data to guide them and a reason to reach people who are not searching yet.

Can you run Google Ads for a mortgage broker or insurance adviser?

Yes, for licensed businesses. Google requires financial services advertisers targeting Australia to be verified, which means proving they are licensed by ASIC, usually through its vendor G2RS, and we help you complete it before launch. We market your business; we never give financial advice to consumers.

Do builders need their licence number in their Google Ads?

In New South Wales the licensee’s name and licence number must be shown in all advertising, internet included. In Queensland the QBCC asks for your name and QBCC licence number in advertisements, websites included. Your licence details go on every landing page, and we agree with you how they appear in the ads.

We are not in Brisbane. Can you still run our Google Ads?

Yes. Our Australian office is in South Brisbane and we run campaigns for businesses in every state by video call, booked in your business hours. Your campaigns are aimed at the suburbs and regions you serve, not ours.

Should I run Google Ads or Facebook ads?

If people search for your service when they need it, start with Google Ads. If they need to see it before they want it, start with Facebook and Instagram. Our guide to Google Ads vs Meta ads in Australia works through it, and the Meta ads page explains how we run that side.
