Speed-to-lead · First Voice, now part of OneAdsphere

Call new leads back in seconds, inside the rules.

People who fill in a form are often contacting several businesses at once. First Voice’s speed-to-lead calls new leads from Facebook Lead Ads, website forms and Google Ads lead forms typically within 60 seconds, inside Australian calling hours, qualifies them and books them in.

How it works

The first business to call usually wins the job.

Calling back while they’re still thinking about it gives you the best chance of booking them.

1

A lead comes in

Someone fills in your Facebook Lead Ad, website form or Google Ads lead form, with consent wording that says you will call.

2

First Voice calls them

Typically within 60 seconds of the lead reaching First Voice, inside the calling window.

3

It says who is calling

It names your business, says it’s an AI assistant and that it is calling about their enquiry.

4

It qualifies and books

It asks your qualifying questions and books a time that suits, or takes a detailed message. You get the summary, transcript and recording.

Calling hours

Fast, but never on a Sunday.

Australian telemarketing hours apply even when the lead asked you to call. Leads that arrive outside them get a text straight away, then a call when the window opens.

Australian calling window

When new leads are called

No calls on national public holidays either. We can narrow the window further, never widen it.

Consent built in

Done properly, from the form to the call.

  • Consent wording for your forms and Facebook Lead Ads, supplied for you
  • Every call names your business and says it’s an AI assistant
  • Every text includes your business name and a working STOP option
  • Competition entries and free-download leads are not auto-called

Do Not Call Register Act 2006

Calling someone who asked you to

When a person fills in your form and asks to be contacted, calling them back about that enquiry is contact they agreed to. Consent is what allows a call to a number on the Do Not Call Register, and it can be withdrawn at any time, so a lead who says “don’t call me again” is not called again.

  • Consent wording on the form says what the call is about, who will call and that an automated AI assistant may call.
  • Keep a record of the form, its wording and when it was sent, so you can show where the consent came from.
  • Competition entries and free-download leads are not auto-called.
Telemarketing Industry Standard

Calling hours and saying who is calling

Telemarketing calls in Australia are allowed Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, never on a Sunday or a national public holiday, even when the person agreed to be called. Every call also has to say who is calling, for which business and why, end politely if the person asks, and show a caller ID number they can ring back.

  • We set the calling window inside those hours, in your leads’ local time. Perth is two or three hours behind Sydney, so national campaigns get a window that works for every state.
  • Leads that arrive outside the hours wait for the window to open.
Spam Act 2003

Texts that follow the rules

A marketing text needs consent, has to say who it is from and has to give an easy way to stop, such as replying STOP. Stop requests must be actioned within 5 business days. Booking confirmations and appointment reminders are generally not marketing messages.

  • Every text carries your business name and a working STOP option.
  • A STOP reply ends the follow-up texts for that number.
Privacy Act 1988

Recordings, data and honest AI

The Australian Privacy Principles apply to businesses with annual turnover over $3 million and to some smaller ones, such as private health service providers. The OAIC suggests explaining how personal information is used at the start of a phone call, and recording a call is also covered by Commonwealth, state and territory laws.

  • The greeting can say the call may be recorded, before anything else is collected.
  • The OAIC recommends AI tools facing the public are clearly identified as AI. Speed-to-lead calls say so up front; the receptionist says so if asked, and its greeting can say so too.

How we know
  • How First Voice counted: Figures from First Voice’s own call records. Business hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, NZ time. Appointments are counted only where the booking system confirmed the booking. A lead counts as reached when the conversation lasted more than 15 seconds. Client names are withheld. I am using FirstVoice to call my leads as soon as they come in from Meta. The potential clients love that I contact them quicker than anyone. I am able to close more deals because I'm the first to them.

Which one is right for you?

Speed-to-lead, or the Pickup System?

Both call every lead fast. The difference is who finds the leads, and how you pay.

Speed-to-lead

“We already get leads. We just can’t call them fast enough.”

First Voice speed-to-lead. Every lead from your ads and forms called back typically within 60 seconds, for a monthly fee: an add-on on the Growth and Scale plans, priced in AUD on a call.

The Pickup System

“We want someone to find the leads too.”

The Pickup System. We run the Facebook and Instagram ads, AI calls every lead, and you pay AU $150 + GST per confirmed appointment. See the Pickup System.

Questions

Speed-to-lead, answered.

More on the Voice AI page.

How fast does it call new leads?

Typically within 60 seconds, measured from when the lead reaches First Voice, during the calling window. Facebook and other platforms can take a few minutes to send a lead through, which is outside anyone’s control.

Is it legal to call leads automatically in Australia?

Calling someone who has just asked to be contacted about your service is contact they agreed to, and that consent is what allows a call even if their number is on the Do Not Call Register. The Telemarketing Industry Standard still applies: calls only on weekdays 9am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm, never on Sundays or national public holidays, saying who is calling and why, and ending the call if asked. This is general information, not legal advice.

What happens with leads that come in at night or on a Sunday?

They get a text letting them know you will call, and First Voice calls them when the calling window opens. It doesn’t call outside the Australian telemarketing hours.

My leads are all over Australia. Which time zone does it use?

We set the window in your leads’ local time. If your campaign is national, the window is set so it falls inside the permitted hours in every state, remembering that Perth is two or three hours behind Sydney depending on daylight saving.

Which lead sources work?

Facebook Lead Ads, website forms and Google Ads lead forms, plus any system that can send a lead instantly by webhook. Lead marketplaces that only release contact details after you accept a job can’t be called instantly.

What if the lead doesn’t answer?

It follows up with a text and retries a limited number of times, based on rules agreed with you. It won’t keep ringing someone who doesn’t want to be called, and a STOP reply ends the texts.

How much does speed-to-lead cost?

It is an add-on on the First Voice Growth and Scale plans. First Voice publishes its prices in New Zealand dollars, so for Australian businesses we confirm the price in Australian dollars on a call.

How do people know the call isn’t a scam?

Speed-to-lead calls only go to people who have just sent an enquiry to that business. They say up front that it is an AI assistant calling on the business’s behalf, and they never ask for card numbers, passwords or codes.
